You're probably better off searching Ebay. The last time I looked, they weren't expensive ...

Though I would like to point out that none of the CDs sold are legal either because even though you have the cd, you don't have the license. ;) So technically it's a same thing if you download it from somewhere or if you buy the cd, because even though you can buy the real cd physically, technically it's not legal to use it because you don't have the license.

And because Vadis is obsolete system nowadays for dealers too, there has been no legal licenses for anyone for few years.

Pity you can't buy a copy from Volvo, but I guess they want to keep prices high to make money from independent garages. Unfortunately it sounds like the only way to get a copy is to give some pirate on e-bay the money :(

Is the parts list data contained inside some special software, or is it available as a table in a standard format? (Word or PDF or something)

OK, well, if the "bought" versions aren't legal either, this link may help :-)

VADIS is quite a bodgery what comes to file system. It's huuuuuuge amount of HTML and GIF files slapped together. ;)

Volvo's new system is VIDA which replaced the VADIS.
