Steering Column Locks

Post by retrocool73 » 27 Apr 2008 07:43 pm

Did Volvo stop putting built-in steering locks on 300's in 1988?
My mk2 has one, as does the January '88 360 - all the others (May 88 reg on) don't.... any ideas why?

It's probably just broken. It didn't work in my -87 360GLT either when I bought it so I had to buy a new one.

Don't worry about it. Even the least experienced thieving toerag can laugh at a steering lock. IMO it's just there to be broken and possibly stop you from starting the car with a key after a failed theft attempt.
