3 Hours work and the sound deadening is out! Whoohooo!

About 30/35kg of the crap. Well worth the work in my opinion. Now onto that glue...yuk!

Well worth removing from the rear arches, as you can see they're painted AFTER the soundproofing is put on. If the rubber grommets disintegrate underneath it lets loads of water and road grime in, and traps between the sound proofing and unpainted metal!

I think I will get round to stripping my interior over the summer, and reinstating it with new soundproofing material - purely to check the car over!

Yeah not a bad idea. Some of the sound deadening wasn't in very good condition at all. front was the worst, it was completely soaking wet, same deal with the boot well.

I haven't vanished! Had alot of trouble with BT, so I'm now on a new ISP.

My 360 project's going rather slowly now, hit the stage when cash is a big factor. Head's off to get dismantled at the garage (wasn't going to bother buying a valve spring compressor) and when its back i can start a little head work, not major work though, just some polishing and removing cast marks etc. Started doing the the same with the exhaust manifold aswell, giving that a really good port and polish (lots of nasty restrictive bumps in there.)
