It is time of the year, when winter goes back to north, so if you like to chase it you have to go north. That is what I have done now, some pics to show you what it is like here ;)

Place is amazing, I dropped my jaw so many times on my way here that can't close my mouth, scenery is spectacular, specially now as there is white tip of snow at high places.

Looks like a great trip, Jani - you're not going to trade in your Volvo for a skidoo and some rein deer are you?

Probably not, but it is tempting :D

But also I'm missing a home a bit already, have been on trip some time already but won't get home before summer :P

That hill is actually in Norway, I'm about 100 meters from border at day time, I believe we had some memeber in there too? ;)

So you are really far up north. I don't remember where you mentioned you were going north again and i thought that you were going to sort of same height as Rovaniemi or Muonio. But is Utsjoki or Kilpisjärvi nearer where you are now?

Utsjoki is quite near as this place is called Karingasniemi, scenery is well different here than even in Ivalo :P

Thx :)

Shame on me, I forgot better camera to home, so my pics have over exposed sky etc. errors, camrecorder is not 1st choice for pics, but at least one can see something :D

While I'm typing this, I can look from window and I see snow on hill at Norway, that is pretty odd feeling :P

Must take pic from this place tomorrow.

Here you can browse some better pics that other people have took from here:
