The parts website I usually use lists Bosch 0 580 464 022 or 0 580 464 069 as a replacement for a Volvo B200 replacement fuel pump ...

I've contacted Repco and they quoted $344.00 :shock:

The volvo dealers price is $75.00 VERY big difference there, so the dealer has sent me the picture below to see if it's the correct part, because if it's wrong we can't return it...

Image

The VOLVO part number is 1336185....Can anyone tell me if the picture is the correct pump and part number for the car below?

Cheers!
Anne

I've now ordered the above from the dealer, TOH says if its an electrical fuel pump, that's anywhere near like what's on the car he will get it to go. :lol:

Isn't that mechanical pump from carb version in that pic?

Electric fuel injection pump resides under fuel tank and not in engine bay like those for carb versions.

B200E in GLT should have pump under fuel tank and it is NOT equipped with carb as it has fuel injection.

I would say that part visible in pic is not for GLT.

Part numbers for correct part are IMO 9142044 (1389449)(1306932)

Ah well, it's already on order now, so if it's not the correct pump...it'll be on the offers page soon. :)

You should be able to use any old inline electric fuel pump off a scrapper - as long as it's from at least a 2 litre car. There's a return feed for excess fuel on an FI car so absolute pump rates aren't that important.

Almost any = as long as it is from fuel injection car. There was some electric fuel pumps that were used with carb engines and those won't give enough pressure.

Thanks for that, very handy info for me, I'm totally new to the world of fuel injection. :lol:

Maybe someone else has a more useful suggestion (installing VADIS or buying a parts catalogue for example) but I've found this website to be a great help when cross referencing car parts:

http://www.autoteile-shopping.de/default.asp?lang=en

Click on
-->Volvo --> 1985 --> 340-360 (343, 345) --> 2.0 (engine code B200E)
--> Fuel Supply System --> Fuel Pump / Parts --> Fuel Pump

and then either
--> Bosch --> 0 580 464 022
or
--> Bosch --> 0 580 464 069
or
--> Pierburg --> 7.21565.70.0

Underneath the pics is says "Comparison numbers" VOLVO
and then a part no. which can be any of
VOLVO 1306932
VOLVO 1336679
VOLVO 1389449
VOLVO 241723
VOLVO 285211
VOLVO 9142044
VOLVO 9142045

Alternatively, if you just paste the (wrong) part number 1336185 into the input field on the left underneath "product seach" it tells you which models it was made for. As Jani says, it's a mechanical fuel pump for carb-fed B19 and B200Ks ...

Hope this helps,

Tom
