Whats the point - rant enclosed

So I have to park elsewhere on my road since the space outside my house was taken up, and in the space of 3 hours someones left a nice big key scratch on the door of my beater Skoda...
Alright, I don't really care about this car but had planned on buying something nicer very soon. So looks like it'll be another beater 940, no point spending any significant money on stuff when other will ruin it
The joys of living in a city!

Aaargh, don't you just love these people
4 years ago I lent the GLi to my boss. He parked it somewhere slightly inconsiderately, and someone voiced his complaint by running his key down the side of the car.
He's no longer my boss, but I still have the car and get worked up when I see it ...

B*****ds, completely and utterly uncalled for. It doesn't matter if it's a beater or what it is, you've paid for it, it's yours, you've worked for it, what right does someone else have to damage it. One persons opinion of what constitutes a 'banger' or knackered car can differ massively from anothers, too many people rate this on the age of the car in a snobbish manner, so anything over a couple of years old in their opinion is worthless and doesn't deserve respect or care, regardless of condition or what the owner thinks of it.
It doesn't matter what vehicle I own or have, and it's condition, I don't let it get any worse due to being careless, so why should someone else damage it. That's like saying, it's got a dent in the door, one more won't matter, but it does. The one that is there could be repaired in one go, two puts you off and would cost more to repair etc.

I'll never understand why people do things like that, do they find it fun or something? when in car parks I always park at the very far end in a quiet corner, preferable with a wall/hedge on one side or if that's not possible, next the newest, poshest, cleanest car I can find, as they'll be more likely to be carefull.
Hopefully then no one will walk past it to get to another row, no one will catch it cutting a corner and hopefully no one will park next to it. it's a pain, but it's a worry that there are so many inconsiderate people about, send them to Australia
I'm luck to have been born without a temper, but if I saw someone damaging the car, I don't want to think what might happen...

Ive seen careless drivers scratching cars but not many vandalised cars unless they were asking for it (there was with 4 sale that got spray painted coz it was left on a paddock)

Seems that there are more vandals in the UK we should send our criminals to you guys

but having said that maybe you are still sending your crims down to my area given that my cars never been vandalised at the train station but someone sure did shoot himself and his partner there!!!!!
