Ouch! Looks like the tyre left the rim, which then dug into the road ...

But the ease with which the back end swerves out in corners - looks very familiar 8)

My French shopping trolley has stopped leaking under itself, reason was valve cover being quite loose (less than hand tight) so new gasket and proper torque to bolts and now it did stop leaking oil, which is very nice.

Car needs parts for worth of 300 euros so that major problems will get sorted, installation of parts is added to that, so perhaps 500 euros. Need to think if I fix all at once, one bushing at lower A-arm is missing completely, there just is no any rubber to be seen and heater fan has failed, then there is some minor issues like wheel bearing or something among that caliber.

Great set of films - I know the scene you mean. Almost as good as where the friend is shaking the guys wife and her hairstyle changes every time she's shaken

Sorry for late reply - I've not been round here much lately ;)

So, shitty shopping cart needed some attention, only real service I had given to it was replacing of headlamps and few oil changes, so now was time to do service which I usually do when I buy a car.

So cost was 600 euros, includes all oils, filters, joints, bushes, brakes, also exhaust pipe needed to be replaced, can't even remember all anymore, but lot of stuff.

What is still left to do is alternator mainentance and belt, one bulb and passenger side headlamp needs new attachment as current one is broken.

Then MOT will cost 100 and still need to pay over 500 of taxes for year.

I guess it could be worse, after all car sees over 60 000 in a year, so it is excepted to get some wear and tear.

Well, I believe that depends a bit how previous owners have looked after it, my car has relatively low mileage, but previous owners have done just oil changes and added fuel, no wonder it needs almost all parts replaced.

I forgot to mention, valve cover seal was replaced less than 10 000km ago and it already leaks, I guess valve cover gets loose by itself.

Well, some things in it are POS indeed, for example ABS warning light got lit again today and thus no ABS, so I just did restart on fly and again ABS did work ok
