Talking to my mum yesterday, she's thinking of changing her camera again.. I said I'd see if anyone was interested. Same camera SteveP uses if you want an idea of how good it is (maybe that should be can be!)
Tis an awesome cheap way into the realm of digi SLR's, if required there is a 28-80 (I think... can check that) genuine Canon lens so you can play straight away. Doesn't seem to know what bits would come with it, but if anyone is keen, between my kit and hers we could make an out the bag starter. Price depends on what is sold obviously, but somewhere in the region of £150-£180 for body and lens I think would be the starting point.

Bump for actually for sale, as I said price depends on how much stuff you want, but for with the 300 there is an IR remote and 28-80 lens that can come with. The body itself is in good condition, and is boxed with manuals, software and has the orig canon charger. There is one mark on the paint on the flash (have pestered for a piccy as it is tiny). Also has a book "The Canon EOS 300D Digital Camera - All You Need To Know"
Steve has shown what these cameras can do (his is the same) and can provide pictures from the camera if required.
