the bots are back

anyone else noticed the recent influx of dodgy members
( no pun intended ) ,
is our site security getting weak ?
can anything be done to get rid of them ?
I dont want our younger mebers like Josh and Will damaging their
eye sight
( Its tooo late for me

)

Thing is, they are able to register but not post at the moment. There are a few things we can do, but they involve a major site overhaul, which Aymat has said he doesn't want to do until he can do it properly. I'll have a word, see if we come up with any ideas.

have you thought about moderator controled access new recruits get chedckled over by a mod and you can opick bots out then and let people pass

In the meantime,I'm not too bothered about the bots registering, they don't seem to be able to post atm. I'm vaguely intriugued as to why they are registering and not posting... there must be a reason. I'll follow it.

We could of course ask the ultimate question in registration form, it would require bots to build world largest computer to find out what ultimate question is, then that computer must build another even bigger planet size computer to find answer to that question, which would take million of years and still it would be run over by road construction work just before answer would be found.
Well, that would keep them busy for good amount of time, right?
