hi guys i've just bought a 1985 340 1.4 3door in mint condition its had 2 owners from new plus me it has full service history from the dealer that sold it new in 1985 right upto last month at 77k miles the car has had no expense spared i have recently changed the rear shocks for gas replacement oem spec and have got to fit rear lowering blocks and lower the fronts and stiffen them up a bit with a oil change but all in all she's a stunner she has v40 15" alloys fitted by previous owner and i have replaced the standard original radio and door speakers with a kenwood cd player and jbl 4" speakers and fitted a 10" sub to give a little extra bass other wise she's totally standard and original even the paint she was garaged for the first 23 years of her life and has been well looked after i'll add some pice to the post for all to see

Welcome to the forum, is that a full volvo service history? cause if so that is sweet, What are your plans for the car?

my plans for the car is to just run it really nothing mad yet untill i get bored then i'll see what i can do with it

i wish i could borrow them mate there brand new on the mini i only fitted them for him last week and at £500 for the set i ain't buying any soon

what sort of money do 340's go for in the condition mines in just out of interest as i think i got a bargain with mine for £245 off ebay with 12months test and 1 tax

you could say that ,I would say any 300 with a years ticket is easily worth £400 if not a fair bit more, certainly with an average of less than 3,500 miles a year on the clock

its going back up for sale i think i went to a show over the weekend and i found a note on my windscreen with a number on it and a offer of cash to buy my car

well i'm keeping her now i passed my test on friday just gone for the first time in the 12 years or so i've been driving and tokk her for a run to ipswich about 400 miles alll round she never missed a beat and did it on £55 of juice so she can stay for a while goin to get her valeted the week as she filthy now after the journey
