There was one on ebay in Birmingham a few months back, same one? Why'd you ask? Is it for sale.. is it?! :D

That's a Mk2 ;)

Looks like it just has the front bumper removed tbh and the valance is painted black due to rust. Looks just like my old one though!

That's actually a very tasteful Golf!:D

Ah I see now ,I thought at first it had one of the small bumpers with the stripey insert ( like daffodil had )and the black circle on the wing was where the bracket for a bigger bumper went

Bet thats the auto that was for sale when you got yours Steve... (memory says there was an identical yellow mk2 with the opposite box on ebay within a fortnight...)

Nah, believe it or not mate - it's not! I've seen another pic of this car and it has some alloy wheels that look very period and a bit of filler on one rear arch.

The ebay car didn't have either... and it wasn't thaaaat long ago. There was also another 343DL vario in Lincolnshire, the one you mentioned on ebay, another in Birmingham... So there were atleast 4 1982 ish 343DL's in that yellow at the same time!! I thought it'd be rare :roll: :lol:

Hi all.
When i saw this picture i thaught someone had nicked my car.I have never seen another yellow one apart from my own. My car is a 1981 345DL.
P.S. The parts Steve sold me for my 360GLT project are first class.

what a lovely car.Very similer to mine,although mine has a lovely black louver thingy on the back window.
Someday i will find out how to upload pictures.Im afraid i do not know how to.My daughters boy freind is a computer wiz kid so i will get him to show me how.
