Some potentially nice gadgets there which didn't make it over to the MkII / III unfortunately, including the digital clock, centre armrest, coin holder and lamp levell :D control ...

EDIT:

Not sure what this one is. Has a nice pointy rear window though ...

besides the door trims and steering wheel, the interior looks more modern in a good way. But whats with all them extra buttons some look as if they are duplicates :?.

I think he means that that prototype has a manual gearbox, but no clutch ;)

Interior looks cheap I think.. Typical japanese car look. ;) No Volvo style at all.

Seats and armrest looks nice though.

Got to agree with Fuse on this one - seats look great and I like the door cards - but the dash URGHH ! Looks like an old Honda !
Very interesting pics though.

Oops! I was too busy smirking at the spelling mistake in the same picture to notice ;-)

The VW Beetle had one of those "semi-automatics". The Trabant too ...

I stole into Volvo (NL)s secret archives and snapped away with my camera ...

Sorry - German Ebay ... There were two more pics in the set, but I didn't scan them as they just looked like normal press photos.

What do you make of the final pic? Compare it to the design of the standard 3 dr rear window, it's definitely different ...

The quality of the plastics is certainly bad - all shiny and cheap-looking. But I guess that's a common thing in prototypes ...

Where would this car be now? Wrecked?

Those Twingo's have a semi-automatic. Drove one @ my work. Verrrry weird! When I started driving the thing, I constantly pressed the brake in stead of the clutch (there isn't any;)).

But even worse: After driving it for 10 minutes, I drove my 360 to a parts-shop...I forgot to use the clutch.

Some of them were allready in the database of the V3C, but some arent...

Those rims are really special too. Only seen on 2 German GLT's yet.
