360 newbie saying hello

Evening all! Bought myself a Volvo 360 GLS yesterday to get the hang of drifting and use as a laugh over the winter/next year It will be my daily runner.

The car is a 3dr '84 A, 2.0 carb, 1 owner from new time warp OAP special (hence my crap user name lol) with 59K miles and muchos ghey chrome. I paid 400 quid for it with a years test and six months tax.

I have no pics yet as it has fucked me over by seemingly needing the fuel pump replaced and can I hell find one until Tues/Weds

Anyway, plans are to chop the coils and either get 2" lowering blocks (or move the leafs above the axle) can you do this? (searched and found nowt) and a set of 13" 6J minilites I reckon, maybe a couple of DIY strut braces too. Dechrome a bit and a facelift badgeless grille, just to de-grandad it a little lol. Oh and I forget the obvious one, weld the diff (after winter probs though!)

These things are getting rare

Good luck finding a fuel pump, I'm sure one will come up! Get some pics up too

Cheers dude, yeah she will be looked after. Made it almost 25 years so far it would be a shame to wreck it one way or the other now!

Hehe, the Junior is Helge's car. A big V300 fan in Germany (and the only one not called "Tom" AFAIK

Yeah that's the one, looked awesome when I saw it. I did fancy offering £400 for it, but had to buy some other stuff so couldn't manage it. Nice work on the price, they had it up for 599 when I was there.

Aye the rims on mine are 400 series 'canis' 15s, and the RS6 copies were just for a laff, sold them to a mate with an actual RS6 to use as nurburgring wheels.

I had another incomplete "½ of a set" of stripes which I didn't put up in my recent V3M sale - they went to Helge to repair those areas where they are peeling off his car. He has two Juniors, one with only 22000kms on the clock (I think that's the one in the above pic.)
