Scrap yard finds

Went to a local scrap yard today because I needed new glove compartment for GLT. There were couple 360's. One red GL had a bonnet vent cover and front mask with high beams.

Weren't too expensive either. Also bought a parcel shelf for GL and interior light for GLT.

Arrghh bonnet vent cover!! How much was it? Would it be possible to ship it to the UK

Yeah the grille. Didn't think when I was writing. Translated directly from finnish to english..

But I mean the grille with mounted high beams.

Hi Steve ,As I posted the original request for a bonnet vent cover , I think it only fair I should have it ,or do I have to use my promotiom as moderator and pull rank

LOL, In all fairness I think fuse should put it on his GL. I wondered if we could get a pattern made and if Foggys mate might be interested in producing some if he can ? otherwise I will just have to fight you for it

haha.. I'm certain Fuse will keep it for himself, I can't blame him

However, if we're talking about fairness, Chris_C posted a request somewhere six months ago - so we're only new boys. Getting a pattern made would be good - I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult or expensive to produce.

James, is it something your mate whose doing the body kits might consider? the only problem being I dont think anyone over here has one to use as a pattern, obviously some sort of fixing would be needed possibly nuts set in the moulding and bolts coming up through the grille and allowances made for the windscreen washer jets otherwise it just needs to be a rectangular shaped box with smoothed off edges and the front and bottom open
