My local dealership (John Darke, Lincoln) can do me keys for the car for ~£10+vat each, so I think we have a solution. They only need the registration number and V5C (to prove I'm not trying to steal it!) and I'm good to go....I don't even need the VIN.

Of course I hope I find the originals!

Stefan...try calling them (01522 701501). They had my car on record, and yours is only one year older...

cheers

That's because they're not Speeds any more ;) Luckily, they're not going to be Stratstone <<spits>> for much longer, either. ;)

Darke's aren't brilliant (try FRF in Swansea or MRG in Chippenham), but they could be worse.

Ah nice result mate.
I think I might sort a spare for my ex-vario. Given its run of bad luck, it might not be a good idea to only have the one.

Nessy only ever had one key, but quite how that car kept going as long as it did in various areas is a mystery to me...:)

Aye it looked about ready to snap when I saw it, but think that was like a year before it went?
