it is definately a shape thing. I am new to
this site ,so hi all you volvo people, i drive a 340 gl 1.7 1991 , it has all the electric this ,that
and the other. Before that I had a 340 dl 1.4 1987 .That one came to an unfortunate end but
saved my life in the process, due to a teenager in a ford hitting me head on.we impacted at a
closing speed of 85 mph,. my volvo front end was crushed but due to the body absorbing the
massive impact it was deemed a write off. You should have seen the ford what a mess.After
my injuries healed i went searching for a replacement ,and low and behold in a small garage
in the midlands i found a great little 340. It is great .anyway the shape thing,my first ever car
was a vauxhall chevette.. a similar shape don`t you think? I loved the shape of the
chevette and after 20 years and many other cars i returned to a car that reminds me of the
one i started off with...has this happened to anyone else.. cheers speedy.
