i thought i should say hi as i will bebuying the 340 of kaos today
:D

the plan at ther moment is to tidy her up and lower it on either banded steelies or alloys

If youre looking to slam it, springs and blocks are available from classicswede in the for sale section, youre on your own with the wheel hunt though. Ive been trying to nab some for months!

will have a look at the lowering :)



picked up the 340 off kaos today

running like a bag of shit

but got about half way home when it cut out and wouldmt restart :x

so towed it the rest of the way home only to find out it had run out of petrol :oops: :lol:

guess the fuel gauge dont work as it said i had half a tank

owell


tomorrow i am going to try and sort the running problem

at is very lumpy :roll:

Sounds like a pretty weak adverture you had there mate.

When yoy are fed up you often over look checking the obvious things :oops: Hope you sort the running issues

found the running problem today

it was only running only 3 cylinders :?

so checked the spark had spark

so whipped the rocker cover off :shock: :shock:

one of the pushrods on the inlet had come off the rocker arm

put it back together problem solved :D :D

can anyone right me a guide for adjusting the rockers ???

its the 1.4 340

If i'd have been bothered.......... lol

Runs like a bag of shit but ran none the less least its with some one that will get better use out of it than me. With regards to the guage, could be because its sat for a while. but check the connections under the boot floor through the hatch in the floor.

I'll check my tech books tomorrow when im alive and away from work. and get back on rockers if one of the guys hasnt.

Sorry i couldnt have been there but some ones got to pack the boxes where i work lol. I also hear you got a weee tour of my 16v...

the gauge seems to work now lol


your 16v gave me some ideas

looks like its goin to be a beast once done 8) 8)

i have resprayed the front bumper matt black and the grill

wil be doing the rear bumper next and the mirrors etc


next on the list is a mk1 golf gti front splitter :)
