ehm i just went to the garage to check this and there's def no offset boltpattern. as james said, bolts will fit in every postion.

so i still have no clue how to mount it right :)

i'm just searching the net but still no info yet.

ok, found this:

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthrea ... t=flywheel

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthrea ... t=flywheel

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthrea ... t=flywheel

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/E ... stallation

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showpost. ... stcount=27

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=7128

that should do the trick ;)
and then put the marking on the flywheel straight up
in the last link above it says
Later flywheels which have a lightly etched arrow, the arrow should be horizontal and pointing to the right.
however, if i use all tricks at once i should get it spot on...at least i hope so^^

woops, delete that! just spoke to guy who just swapped his b200 to a b230 and he sayd this:

get cyl1 to TDC
on the flywheel there is a black marking, put this marking (seen from the rear of the engine) at 15:15hour (to the right)
then bolt holes should perfectly line up + timing ok

The LH2.4 flywheels line up at "45 minutes past", and I had a feeling Renix was the opposite...so that makes sense :)

It's a shame I don't have a Renix car here to check :(

cheers

carbs are cleaned, it was def nessacary. main jets are 145 at the outside and 150 at the inside in the stock setup. drilled them out to 200 on all four carbs. i expect massiv fiddeling anyways so its just a starting point.

another problem came up: i can't get a single water pump gasket from the dealer, only with a new pump and mine is still good.

will hylomar do the trick instead of the original gasket?

If the waterpump is the same as for a 8v (not sure...), you can get them from other parts stores. I know Euro Car Parts here in the UK do them for 8v.

cheers

It does look good, very low mileage too!

But:
wayyy down south in Munich
no special equipment (cat, PAS air con) to make it deserve that high price tag ...

yeah price is way off most of the time on these kinda selling boards.

but i'm perfectly sure you don't have to pay the price he offers...especially after he realizes that nobody wants the car anyways.

there was a 360 on ebay not to long ago, broken gearbox an pretty neat all around...someone bought it for 1€. was to far away for me as well, would have grabed it right away.

it's a shame that i've got very limited time on my hands in the recent months, can't work on my 360 and not check the net for good volvo cars as well...i'm sure some good offers have been missed. seems like good cars have shown up more frequently in the past year or so.
