Re: Language
Well if you east too many vegetables, your farts probably will start proppelling solid projectiles!
Or semi-solid anyway.
Or semi-solid anyway.
Re: Language
hmm, I've been pondering your dilemma and may have come up with a solution for you...
Dried beans or peas....swallowed whole may just make the correct projectile for your...erm weapon?

No hes much better to have tried to knock it out with a fart than shoot it ,volvosneverdie wrote:Well you had the perfect opportunity to score yourself a bit of meat when that woodpecker was in a clear line of sight! You should have shot it, not farted at it!
that way there might be some meat left on the bird not just a pile of shot gun pellets and feathers

Re: Language
was thinking more of a .22 to the head. Nobody eats the heads anyway and .22 long would be more than sufficiently accurate if you can keep the Finnish winter at bay long enough to steady your hand.
Re: Language
I was thinking of solid lead pellets of my high power air rifle
It is proud product of unknown Chinese factory, came with scope wich I ditched straight away, I hit better by looking along barrel, it also kicks a lot more than .22 magnum, also smokes quite a bit
I did test it on old metal bucket that had deformed beyond repairing and from 12 meters it still managed to pierce the bucket, which I found somewhat jaw dropping as there is not a lot of energy in air gun pellet. 200 litre Barrel however was already too thick for it.
Hitting same spot twice is then another story completely

I hope we never have to go to war with china then!
their air rifles sound like weapons of mass destruction.
So god only knows what their actual weapons of mass destruction are like!

Imagine what farts would smell after eating only those for few daysThousand-Year Old Eggs
If the thought of eating food that could have been served to an Emperor during the Song dynasty offends your culinary sensibilities, relax. Thousand-year-old eggs aren’t really that old. A more accurate name for this pungent hors d’oeuvre would be salted or preserved eggs. Thousand-year old eggs (also called century eggs or hundred-year old eggs), are made by preserving duck eggs in ash and salt for one-hundred days. This turns the white of the egg a darkish gray color, giving the eggs an ancient appearance. Definitely an acquired taste, thousand-year old eggs have a strong salty flavor.
Largest game I have seen taken down with air gun was a Buffalo, bull Buffalo, it was of course using compressed air.
This rifle I really would like to get:

It delivers pretty nice punch and everyone still thinks that it is just an air (toy) gun

Re: Language
I has a second hand Air Arms S20 in pcp (carbine) that was .22.
Thought it would make me into some kind of crack-shot outlaw woodsman.
All it actually did was cost a lot of money and scare my girlfriend.
Maybe I shouldnt have stroked it/talked to it etc.
Had to go anyway.
At a huge loss.

Re: Language
thats a real shame Germ. Destroying something so iconic.
When handguns went all illegal, one of the the lads lost an almost brand new 93f 9mil, a browning hi power and a colt 1911 custom springfield. He'd shelled out over five grand on the three and was a member of a club, no criminal record, all were kept locked in a safe at the club, and they all got taken away by the police for 0 compensation. Not even an appology.
hard to bear.
Still, better than some lunatic getting ahold of them I suppose.

That is democracy to us, I guess. It's pants
There are individuals here that are making total ban of guns because of few incidents that would happened anyway with different weapons if there would not been guns available.
I guess that in 20 years we all are holding each other from hands and singing from love (sex not allowed) and happiness, at least that is direction society is turning to from my point of view and for me that is total nitemare, I prefer things that make bad noises, run fast or make great destruction, I don't like fluffy nice happy joy joy emotions floating, I like to push limits and try harder, but all this is becoming harder and harder every day.
It has little to do with topic too actually, it is how we make protective shells around kids and now it starts to show up, kids really can't face real proper world anymore, they are with their parents making world fluffy and easy place, denying how world is actually quite brutal place. I guess that is price of our civilized culture, but I'm not all too sure if I prefer to be civilized person in first place, so it can be that sometimes some naughty words can slip from me

Re: Language
Got to be a happy medium in there somewhere man.
Somewhere as far from anarchy as it is from the nanny state.
Its probably an island somewhere.
