Ive just bought the coolest thing, now i want you to imagine the coolest thing then multiply it by 100.(sorry for the terrrible pics-mobile phone jobbies)

Yes Thats right its a brand new expansion tank! NLA at volvo uk ( i believe) A bargain at just under 15Quid inc VAT Orederd it yesterday and picked it up today! There are still a few bits and bobs for 300's left.

It's actually white, not that nasty shade of yellowish brown that age turns it into! :shock:

Yep thats the idea Tom :D You have seen the pics of how i had her before all clean and shiny, This is part of the come back, everything is being tackled, rust proofing and most things new. Cant deal with "rat look" hate it, i like a car to be in good nick and presentable. i got a qoute for a respray in the original colour asked for the best, its 1200quid---Think its worth it tbh i want to keep the car for long term so iam really thinking of it need to save more tho! :oops: if i can't get a respray i will have the rear door and bonnet done as they are the only dodgy bits(dents etc)

I know, it gets worse everyday. i blame chris c (dunno why....) in my engine conversion i keep thinking hmmmm.... i really should just have it all stock fix the damn 1.7 then i think no crack on with what iam doing and its a hard battle. solution has to be buy another?? or 2???

Anyone know any good metal homes?
