Top Gear once got Lotus to tune a Lada Riva for them. Very entertaining

I think that car ended up broken for spares in the end, it's owner couldn't drive/control it and sold it on or something. Can't remember exactly. I want do do something similar with an estate version while the prices are still rock bottom.

I can literally see fuel gauge moving towards that E-letter, 100km and needle sits 1/4 lower, tank is 21 US gallons
TopGear Lada was on sale at e-bay year or two ago (not sure from time really)

Maybe I'm one of those odd rich people that try to keep low profile? Well, not likely, so it is not anything really special, just something to drag my arse around

Not like that one.
Recon that might push the fuel consumption up a bit, and make the back a bit swingy!
I still say Sunbird.
Nobady likes them, so they should be cheap enough.........

Was a lada per-say but i think it was so early, it was before they were actually known as ladas.
Seem a few more modern slammed riva estates as well. look good, but have you ever tried steering one?
Put five people in and a boot full of cider and you might as well be tring to park the moon at T in the park.
