Re: New wheels?
I don't need your stinking shoes, I have plenty of my own (all stinking)
13.8MPG, turbine locker seem not to operate as it should, it lacks part of functionality that can be described as locking, must look bit to that, also car does not have choke at all it seems, so starting is rather interesting. Maybe I take a peek under the bonnet at weekend, thing needs some tune up and new plugs too (which seem to quite difficult to replace, can't quite reach them by hand, impossible with my tools, I think).
Safari, hmm I don't know if that is actually car model, it is perhaps more of chassis type? Parisienne is car model
I must say that it is very relaxing to drive (visit to petrol station removes all that relaxation...) with cruise control and auto gears, I visited today at one of largest cities in Finland and as I left it was a rush hour, hardly even noticed that, only thing I did watch was left and right corners and offside mirror, while trying to fit that boat to our undersized roads
Tomorrow I can perhaps get some photos, if I get up before sun sets down.

Re: New wheels?
More like this, without woods and with metallic green colour:
Edit: oh yes and with lot more rust and less chrome on wheels (wheels are totally different)

Re: New wheels?
John Candy vs the bear? Am I thinking of the right flick? The one where he eats the 96oz steak or some such.

Re: New wheels?
Like I said, bad battery, very bad, it actually gets from empty to fully loaded in less than 1 hour with my small battery charger, it should take 10 or more so it is pretty much useless battery
Car is missing bumper strip, there are ugly rust buildup too.
From inside it is like every one of these, except interior is much better condition than typically.
115400 miles, all gauges work and I don't really have reason to believe that it would not be all in odometer. Needle covers one number pretty completely so I did some paint magic
It has some issues, though:
Cat might be clogged, which has lead pressure build up into A.I.R pipes, then one of one way valves has failed and this is result of that. Previous owner has disconnected all plugs and control hoses from that system and I'm trying to get it working.
Sorry for low standard of photos, I took them in hurry and then they did just sit on camera for few days, until now I found time to upload them.
I'm probably going to keep it pretty much stock, or should I http://jimscutlass.tripod.com/id17.htm ?
