Recommend theese bulbs?
Hello from Spain!
I've just tried my 'new' volvo 360, and realised that light bulbs are too much used, and are really yellow-ish. Thus, I've been searching for some new units for all bulbs in the car, icluding inside lights.
What do you think about this light set?
http://cgi.ebay.es/VOLVO-340-360-SERIES ... m153.l1262
Would theese ones fit the brake lights?
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5041
And theese ones fit signal lights?
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5069
I've read that interior lights (I want to replace with led lights) are '265' brand, but really don't know.
Sorry about asking so much questions, but I haven't already found the manual, and I am a total newbie. I know that all theese bulbs are really cheap, but I am a student and can't really afford the best quality ones
Thanks a lot

Re: Recommend this bulbs?
I'd recommend getting bulbs from a reputable brand rather than no name ones from ebay
I think some people have been pleased with Osram silverstar +50% brighter bulbs
I've got Hella +50% brighter bulbs, but they don't seem and better than the ones they replaced

Re: Recommend this bulbs?
Osram Night Braker +80% have been quite nice, in 300 series they should last quite well too.

Re: Recommend this bulbs?
Thanks a lot; I agree you: I don't want to spend money in bulbs that'll break in thw weeks. For a little more money I'll be sure about what I buy

Re: Recommend theese bulbs?
Consider getting some new headlights too. After 20+ years, the reflector can begin to get a little tarnished.
Oh, and welcome to the forum

Re: Recommend theese bulbs?
Where on the Internet (and if possible, in Europe) could I get the reflectors?
I've been searching and I can't find any page. I'll check if the reflectors are ok; although the car is very old, it has always been parked in a garage, and has only run for 103.000 Km. Anyway, I'll check and post some photos.
Regards!

I don't know if it is any use for you, but here in Finland one can still get them from http://www.motonet.fi/ listing says:
You can get full list from http://www.motonet.fi/?id=4 choose Volvo from box, then choose 300-sarja and you get list, google translate helps reading finnish
I think that I could arrange some limited part shipments as they don't deliver outside finland, but it is not going to be quick method because of my job that keeps me away from home.
Oh yes, if you see any gray when looking your headlights, then they could improve if replaced

Re: Recommend theese bulbs?
Good find! I scoured all my usual online sources and couldn't come up with any The only lights readily available seem to be front indicators

Re: Recommend theese bulbs?
I'm sure going to order form http://www.avonbulbs.co.uk/, it has the best prices and the best reliability . Even if they don't las before summer, maybe they'll regrow next year
Now, seriourly; thanks a lot for the info. I didn't have time to see the status fo the reflectors, but checking this weekend.
About bulbs, I think I'm pretty convinced about Osram Night Braker +80%
Thanks again!

WOW! That kit's got to be worth a fortune to the original accessory fans. We definitely didn't get them in the cars over here, but I suppose a bulb kit is law in parts of Europe isn't it?

Looks like its never been opened too.
Almost a shame to use them.
Good find though.
I wonder what else your new car has got hiding inside it.
