You know how it goes from here.

It's a V3M competition, so please try to include a 300 in it (or atleast a Volvo)
Photoshopping is allowed for processing the shot, but not for any major editing.

Email entries to dave.kirkham@mac.com and include "V3M Photo Competition" and your username in the subject, please! (So I don't get confused!)

The topic is "Close" - I'll leave it up to you as to whether you want that to be an adjective or a verb!

Deadline is March 31st at midnight GMT.

Very good challenging topic, as of course everyone tries to figure out something unique awesomeness that would be totally different of how others see this subject

Well over half way through, and we have 1 entry (one, un, uno, eins, yksi, you get the idea)

I'm as guilty as everybody though, as the one entry that is in, isn't mine! :-)

Are we allowed HDR's? I'm guessing by the stock rules they don't fit.

It is perhaps not something magazine editor could get away with unless it is car ad sm14

My take on photoshopping is that cropping and rotating is ok, maybe slight brightness/white balance, but mostly I don't allow myself to edit photos as I need to learn take better pics and it won't help if I fix my failures behind camera by photoshop, so generally I don't use it much of at all. Of course I would like to see pics from others as much straight from camera as possible, but that is pretty much everyone's personal opinion if they like to add some enhancements to photo.

Oh, but that is just how I handle my own photoshopping, you can do some magic to your photos if rules permit it

I will send out my photo at weekend, I have had photo ready for quite some time, but I have been looking if I can get any better as I'm not quite satisfied with it as it is :?

I agree they don't fit the rules as originally drawn up. I would feel best not using one I think, just found one I did a while back ;)

Will try and get a photo when I have a roadworthy car!

Lame excuse Chris, I haven't had road worthy 300 for years, currently it is not even mobile and sitting at back of garage

Well, I haven't got much votes for years either
