The clio and the (what was it, hyundai?) look too new to be hoisty. Tigra is a definite possibility though man. Looked like an altercation between a charming young couple, they obviously knew each other anyway. It wouldn't have been a problem if she'd been taught how to reverse in a straight line!

I think I read somewhere (either in a deleted post or at the VOC forum) that the Tigra was found abandoned. Which indicates that is was nicked ...

For the lady thats gets wrecked to not stop at the scene of quite a serious accident, youve got to recon at the least shes unlicenced or uninsured etc.

Otherwise,it really makes no sense.

Hello guys,
All 3 cars Tigra,Colt and Clio where untraceable on PNC ,I been told Clio was found a short distance away after hitting other cars. The Colt was 06 plate abit new to be just a crooks runabout. We had Police spot check today on street and the side road on all parked vehicles, nothing found so far.I am forwarding footage to local press and telling them that police say "No offenses " committed in all 8 minutes.

Good on you Mo.
I reconed all three mustve been shady man.

All taking off in the same direction, within less than a second of each other.

Anyone with nothing to hide would have stopped to at least offer to be a witness.

Hope it gets a bit of exposure dude.

Give the plods a poke in the right direction.

Mo, that absolutely stinks, but I'm afraid it doesn't surprise me. I have had a car (my red car) hit in the street by a stolen Golf R32. The Metropolitan Police didn't want to know at all, but luckily the crime originated in Bucks, because that's where the vehicle came from so the three 14 year olds have ended up in court. If it was a London crime they wouldn't even have bothered....Unfortunately because they have no insurance and my car was 3rd party only my car wasn't covered and parts are so rare anyway that the car is still lying broken on the street 6 months later.

As if to add insult to injury my brother's car was reversed into by a drunk driver, we have the details, but given the hoohah I had with the blue car after the driver admitted fault and was negotiating with the insurance companies and their insulting offers I told him its not worth it for all the hassle, not to mention the blight on the car's history when the insurance company decide to put a write off category against it. Luckily we used the parts off another very similar car that we were scrapping to repair it, although the bonnet etc doesn't 100% line up.

I wish you all the very best with it, because that car was beautiful, particularly after your kids had been polishing it to within an inch of its life. I suppose at least they didn't hit the S60.
