ok so whats the deal with your used car prices? example
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... gLetter=55
16,495.00 gbp!!! ooh sounds like alot
http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/de ... F9594ED52C
109,800 AUD! for the same vehicle
16,495.00 GBP = 36,236.64 AUD
109,800.00 AUD = 49,942.24 GBP
hmmm just a bit of a mark up dont you think
I know the argument for used cars is that they will rust more but i hardly expect that from a 3 yo one........ Who actually buys a new car when theres second hand paradise at your feet?

costs about 2500 to ship from southhampton. Plus taxes i could own a cl500 mercedes for just over 20k aud (costs about 80k) sounds cool doesnt it!
oh i had big ideas until i realised that the government wasnt so into the free market as we are all led to believe. Good old aussie law prevents importing a car that was sold here localy, unless its a specialist vehicle or was owned and used for the last 12 months, but then thats limited to one vehicle.
I was thinking of buying a car and storing it for a year! but its still a bit of a gamble

Yellow light might not be enough, in that case, may I suggest "roo salvage parts" stickers to doors

hmmm i was thinking it would be heaps more, if i was living up there ( or maybe i should say west?) i would gladly work more hours to be riding in such high class spec vehicles, even with insurance included its still worth it.
swedish money would be in the gazillions haha

Swedish money is in dive now indeed, soon it is again as cheap to visit Sweden as it was when I was a kid
You should note that most of those Mercs are needing big services which are not cheap at all, it is bit of shock when you are used to 300 and they need loads of parts during first two years, once everything is put in good shape, it is not that bad, but getting one sorted is quite a task.
