Remember after Dunblane when they confiscated loads of handguns and that? If anyone was in a position to oppose the powahs that be, it was the gun nuts. Seen the excellent film Demolition Man? Seen the computers listening to everything everyone says and giving out fines for swears? That'll be getting rolled out within a couple of years probably.

The handgun ban put more guns on the streets than any other single event in british history.

if you had four, and they were worth say one and a half grand each, and you had the choice of having them confiscated for 0% compensation, or reporting them stolen and selling them illegally, would you do the right thing?

I'm in with get up and armed part, it is same here with those in power, they indeed won't stop until you ask permission to go dump and afterwards provide exact analysis of contents and reason why some values are too high. (Seen The Island lately?)

Oh yes, we need to be cautious or we will be classified as organization that supports criminal actions or plans which is recent silently approved law making possible to arrest about any group that party in power decides to arrest.

So for example, if there is group, let's say antigreenhoax that plans actions against green bandwagon and party at handle of power decides that only those who believe in green bandwagon are legal, then group antigreenhoax will be arrested.

Freedom of religion, speech and thinking has been lost on this time, there has not been equal rights for years, what is this western free world we are living in?

For example, posts that I have been made about true facts of stopping global warming has been deleted from most of national newspaper's message boards, I have posted them to 4 largest, without anything else than facts that explain real scales of issues and how media is enlargening issue and goverment makes actions that costs to people and helps nothing, all deleted.

Now we can try and change lowering of speed limit, but there is risk of such be considered as action of illegal group and I suspect that you have got same stupid law as us, so they can even silence us by throwing us to jail.

Any board that has nation wide coverage will probably get censored so that only comments that approve lowering of speed limit is shown and only stupidiest comments of negative party are left there to create illusion of free communication.

Petition is probably let run to end and after it is given to officials it will get deleted and they decline never receiving any petition.

And they say Soviet Union and DDR were bad in controlling and spying, they did not have cctv's that record where you go and store that information into much larger filing system than Stasi never had...

Ok, maybe I'm paranoid, but there has been too many coincidents going on lately, too much of important laws are getting silently approved.

Oh yes, they are seriously limiting hand guns in here too, some parties are trying to get full ban, probably partly making it more difficult to start revolution as we slide more towards world of 1984 (the book).

Our speed limits are: General limit 43.5mph, normal limit, which is probably same as your national 49.7mph, it is like snail in tar constantly one has to fight against sleep and at lower controlled roads nobody will obey limit, they drive closer to 60mph, shows how much underrated those limits are

Pontiac don't like from speeds below 55mph as turbine lock will engange only above 52 or 54, can't remember which one it was and then there is 1200rpm

£50 million is only the official estimate and we all know how accurate they are
