I wonder what kind of illustrations would this book include?

Would that be any good, or has anyone already that?

Hi jtbo
That is the standard Haynes manual - they are the "bibles" of car repair in the UK, being available for almost any car you care to think of. Well worth having, with tech info, many photos of a complete stipdown and rebuild.
Some of the advice needs to be tempered with experience though and there are some errors (B14 valve clearances spring to mind - surely they are smaller on a hot engine, with the valves and pushrods expanding?)
Can be unclear on some things and some of the terms used in the book have now passed into folklore.
This may be a useful guide:

PS
There are also exploded diagrams of the diff that you asked about on another thread - no info on repair though

Oh, I know Haynes, don't know why I could not spot name there
I do have only Alfamer book, that is translated Haynes and they did remove about 70% from stuff while doing translation, grrr.
From Haynes book I would only need pic from differential currently.
