Is there a Doctor in the house??

Post by magnumpi » 30 Mar 2009 10:15 pm

I think i have a problem, and it goes by the name of wheelwhoreitis

First off i have to say a MASSIVE thankyou to FilthyJohn, absolutely top bloke who bought these wheels down to the Brooklands meet on Saturday, after i bought them on E bay in January (well the steelies anyway) the Lotus alloys came courtesey of Matt, aka Stealthstylz on Retro Rides.

John if i can return the favour in anyway just give me a shout :D

Then i bought 2x Revolutions from a guy off of RR again for £35= win

Now my latest aquirement are these, it felt like i was getting a late night fix, i've literally just picked these up about 5mins ago, the guy drove from North London to the end of my road to feed my addiction and for such a measly price it would be rude not to!
He popped the boot of his Mk1 Jetta to reveal my next aquirement.

Any way here is my collection so far, am i ill

The ones on the car at the moment

My plans are to put these on next provided they fit that is :?

The only cure is to slake that wheel thirst with MOAR RIMZORZ!!1!

Those lotus wheels better fit, I nearly turned round and went home with them, they're that nice. The rears are what, -20ET or summat? Nowt an arch roller can't fix. That's how you can pay me back dude, get them on your car. 340pw

Dude, thats a awesome line-up............................................................................
wheely awesome.

Get the banded steels on a skateboard, and travel the land solving crimes and helping the needy man.

AFTER youve rolled your tin and jammed the lovely lotus bottomless pots under your battleship.

Wheel addiction.
Cheaper than crack.
And we can all stay fat.

Personally I dont see the downside.

Not sure on a colour scheme yet, but have been toying with gold centers with silver rims, but not sure if it will look a bit chavvy or not??

I'm not fully clued up on them but they are extremely rare, something like 1500 ever produced in the late 50's, they have an aircooled engine behind the front seats and it FWD, sounded like it had a rather fruity sounding engine fitted aswell :D

Yeah it was an amazing thing like you say i've been to many a VW show over the last 15yrs or so and have never seen another.

Not long before the show it looked like this, being a one owner from new that belonged to a brickyard.

4x100, look like nova steels to me. They say GM on them anyhow, and were ET49 before someone added 5" of width
