It's not up north, it's just the Royal Bank of Scotland building in London that they attacked. And no, unfortunately it's no joke.

Oh not this again.
A mate from Manchester said 'If your south of Mansfield you may as well be french'
My mate from Dover argues, 'If your north of the M25 your scottish'

I find it very hilarious how there are so strict borders for those, of course everyone knows it is just age old joke, but still it is amusing

When I was on a course with Audi there was a girl from Hitchen (yes we made all the 'get back to the hitchen/jitchen' jokes) who always said Worcester was 'up norf' and I'd wind her up chronic by saying worcester is in the MIDlands and as the name suggests thats in the MIDDLE of the ISLAND.
Also used to wind her up about 'hertfordshire' and how it should be pronounced 'hart-ford-shIRE' and not 'hart-ford-sheer'

From one of my travels to work (was bit over 1000km trip by road) there would been 2100km to North Pole, bit over 3000km from where I live, I guess I'm northender as from northest point of your island there is around 3400km to north pole

If you are going to say it wrong... it's "'art-ford-shear"
Anything north of Basingstoke is a bit much for me tbh, I likes me Saarf!
