Online Magazine

At work we have just finished putting together our first online magazine for a client based in Dubai. It's the launch issue and the next issue will be bigger. Anyway please have a look, i would like to have some feedback on what you guys think

To zoom in, click anywhere on the page that isn't interactive. I don't really like how that works but it's out of our control.

I Like it, I think its a winner, some good foto's 2!, It's a really good idea and it looks like alot of work has been put into it!

Really nicely done that. Is it the magazine company's own custom player? I assume it's flash based? Haven't seen anything like this before

It's not the magazines own engine. It uses a system called ceros which does the actual page turning. To generate the magazine you upload the base of the mag as a PDF then upload a flash file which is overlaid over the top to drive all the interactive ellements.

Ahh yes just been reading into the Ceros system, looks pretty slick apart from the inability to zoom in/out. Possibilities are endless then if it uses PDF's and flash, it's a nice looking end result! Shame it doesn't look like its open source ;)
