Top cleaning tip. Dont do all your glass THEN start spraying restoring wax on your dash.
Because itll go all over your lovely clean windscreen.
And youll have to start again.
Then youll swear.

New wheels eh? Welcome to 360 Club 340pw :360:

It surely must be bit faster than old car, seem to have nice leather too, luxurious :P

They say that in two weeks time one starts to need for more power, cam swap, MS with spark is good start

Cheers dude.
The step up from 1.4 to 2.0 is a very happy one indeed. :D
Im loving the extra power.
and im already planning a 2.3 upgrade.

Not before some welding though.
Both rear jacking points failed when I fitted the wheels.
And theres a much bigger hole in one sill than I realised.

Mot time in a month, so welding first, more powers later.

Dude :( I thought they were sound when I looked at them, I'm really sorry. Do you have a plan? If you arn't keeping it for a long time, don't do it the way I did, theres much easy ways to get an MOT

The plan is to employ jikovron, master welder (and regional disco dancing championship runner up 2006,) to chop it, plate it and then cavity wax it so it stays rigid.

Its got to be done so we will do it right.
It's no longer a stop gap car. It's gonna cost too much to reticket, to trundle on with that in mind.
So im Investing in it for the medium to longterm now. Going to raise the standard as high as I can.
240 aspirations quashed.

Happy with the performance, so it's hardly a hardship.

Now look...about all this talk of it being fast....I rode in it recently, and fast it is not. Either the Toon coppers really are morbidly obese, or no startled rapist I can imagine is going to get away going as fast as a standard GLT. 2.3 swap will go a long way. Then turbo. Did I mention turbo?

Jesting aside...I do love a good 360. Keep the body solid and it'll be good to you. I wish I still drove mine every day (except in summer, when I'm very glad of the AC). Never missed a beat in 15 years...apart from when I ran it out of fuel. Three times. Balls. Must get my AC fitted, sill welded, turbo motor installed, and get back on the wagon.

I must make some calls about the weekend tomorrow. A plan will come together...

cheers

It should go more than 100, 115 or so?

How are engine mounts, have you checked if oilpan and that front metal tube have some clearance?

My timing belt is getting wet from oil, no matter what I do, so watch out that yours don't start do the same, it is pain in the arse really.

In my mind, and not at all in real life as it would be illegal: I bottled out at about 110mph on the long drive back because there was a lot of vibration.
That was before I changed the wheels, so im guessing (hoping) it was a balancing issue.

Havnt really had an excuse to open it right up since then.

Its not FAST. As Foggy duely pointed out, theres no real need for Capital Letters.
But its quick to me.
Having come up from a 1.4.

I'll have a scout round the bay in due course man.
Thanks for the pointer dude. :D

.
actually,,,,,i was DISCOTECH dancing runner up in 2006,,disco dancing being a 74% more inferior brand ,,,,,however ive taken the natural career pathway from discotech dancing in luminous leotards to welding so hopefully you should be rolling 2.000364623728% more beam strength and 3.047454787% more torsional ridgidity at the mot time
