volvo 300s in scotland?

hey just wondering how many people there are on here in scotland with 300s
anybody near aberdeen?
as i have seen a few standard looking 300s

Hi mate.
I drove my GLS from the ferry down to Gretna last august for my daughters wedding.
Didn't see one 300 about anywhere.
I thought you chaps on the mainland had them all.

These 300s are getting to be rare beasts all over the place. 20'000 sold in Australia - and in the year I've had mine I've only seen one other one ( Grey MKII GLT) in the Perth area.
They're rare, but just not worthy enough of "Classic" status to be kept........ cept by us lot in the know of course ;)

and that black one with the spoiler that stalks me.

So ONE non forum car.
and ive been all over the land.

Says it all really. We are a dying breed!

Lets face it, if 300s had an Alfa or a BMW badge on em, they'd be alot more around.. Actually, didn't DAF approach BMW as well as Volvo for the 300 series?

Not many 300's left my way now. A few have gone to scrap in the last 5 years that were very local to me. There are ony about 6 or 7 that I know of on the island and non of tehm are fourum members. One of the cars is a nice looking blueline owned by a retired farmer.

Yup, there was a chance the Daf would have become a 3series. Glad it didn't ;)

There are millions in Scotland. Mainly in one chaps garden... who is called George!
