What would a convertable 300 look like.

Post by AUTOMAN » 05 Nov 2009 10:22 am

Hi, just wondored what a 300 convertable would look like? Has it been done? and if so, are there any pics of it?

You know that I am stripping my gl, so before I go mad with a totally pointless excercise of cutting the roof off, just to satisfy my own warped mind, I thought I would ask the question.

This idea is so appealling, or do I mean appawling.

I reckon it'd look fairly cool - No doubt some photoshop wiz will be along sooner or later!

There were 4 or 5 floating round on t'internet a few years back, but can't find them now. I saw a random pink one driving round soton 2 years ago, though it had been covered with tat, and the only way you could really tell was from the rear lights. I'm guessing it was for some banger rally or other.

Thanks guys, I love the blue one it looks so nice and chunky. was this car ever built as a real example If it was, how would we go about building one. May be a nice little project for the gl and then it would be worth keeping her allive. Would also make a nice attraction for shows etc. I love the wheels on it as well, were they real? and if so, what would they be called?

Don't worry, I was only joking about building one. I don't have the time, money, or know-how, but the blue toy one does look nice and chunkey, I wish I could make one.
