The number plates in the snow pics look more like Czech ones. The ice pics are from Switzerland:

Hehe, I got 0 of 2 points, but there was Switzerland involved

VND, that is not bad, except for the SUV that keeps it floored all the time.

This is quite a achievement, imo:

Just found more info. I was also wondering how it did end....

story of the man with the camera:

Shocking driving condtions in Paignton on the busiest shopping day of the year. The car is barely moving but the hill makes stopping impossible and both people in the front of the car decide to jump out?????
The couple were warned by neighbours not to venture out that day and they were the only people to attempt to drive on that road. There were numerous pedestrians around who could barely walk on the black ice so a car really stood no chance.
Near the start of the video you can see a recovery truck. This had been stuck there, blocking the road for 3 hours and didn’t move for another 2 hours after this incident.
The reason the video ends abruptly is because my wife and I raced downstairs to see if there were any injuries to the couple. Once I made it past the red cars in the right of the frame, it was clear that several people were seeing to the couple around where the car ended up.
Pretty obvious to see why many people are finding this so funny but believe me, not one person who witnessed this was laughing at the time. My wife and I felt physically sick, as did many others. Thankfully, the couple involved didn’t suffer any serious injuries. More importantly, no pedestrians or children were hit by the abandoned car.

Went out to shoot some nice winter driving pictures the other day. Unfortunately is was a little to dark, så the shots turned out quite grainy. However, we think it's too cool not to post :)

this evening i drove the 340Turbo in a residential neighbourhood where there was still a lot of snow/ice on the road, parked next to the road but there was a slight dip to get back on the road... well, about 4 hours later i was ready to go home, selected reverse and the agressive paddle clutch and welded diff made me remind why i shouldn't drive the thing in the snow... to make it even worse, the rear tires had practically zero profile left after the fridayafternoon drifthour.

so had to hold rpm at 2500 for a few minutes, making the engine warm up a bit, after that i just slammed it full throttle in reverse and finally got off the parking lot. pulled up with clutchkick in 5th gear, holded it around 5000rpm and all i could see in the reverse mirror was flying snow

my friends did like to see it though, they were viewing it through the windows of a mates house, wonder if they taped it  i don't need a car on daily basis (work is a 400m walk) and i don't like driving over the salty roads too much so i don't even bother putting snow tires on but this was definatly something to remember

Delica...

Fake got herself all upset going up a hill today. I tried rocking, I tried pulling away in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th at idle (surprisingly, 1st was best, everything else just span the wheels faster rather than provided less torque....)

So, in true you've been framed style, I left it in first with the wheels spinning at idle, and got out and pushed with shoulder on the A pillar until had enough momentum. Then drove home on the ice

Chris, that activity has provided dozens of unforgettable comedy situations, when pushed either slips and falls down or car tire meets some bump or dip and car decides to suddenly steer away from driver with full lock, letting driver meet ice face first.

Common to both of situations is that driver rather promptly emerges up from the ground and rather surprisingly manages to find incredible amount of traction from his shoes while running to catch runaway automobile that is just about to hit that river/ditch/rolls next to road. Sometimes that activity also contains cheerful crowd making noises like "oh no", "run", "stop it" which usually are rewarded by ex-driver, current world class sprinter, whom slips again and this time fells to his back at the same moment when rather expensive crushing sound emerges 4 to 5 meters front of this ex-driver.

With deep sound of experience, I can tell you that it is lot of fun afterwards, but on spot it was not fun at all, luckily it was only a small ditch with a rock and nothing expensive were damaged. Rest in piece piece of rock

edit: See, is funny or what?
