Post by hatch360 » 08 Jan 2010 08:13 am

Image

stupid i know but i think it works.

I went to get some parts for my c70 when we stumbled upon this.........................

It was the only car in the wreckage yard that wasnt wrecked! IT does have the torque tube problem which is why it was sent to the wreckers. My dad felt bad so we had to get it unfortunately someone asked for a part in the steering column so he took the whole thing apart in a hack job!

The plan is for "Project 360: code red" to have a transplant of the interior from my 360 and maybe some engines parts depending on how well it runs. From there my dad wants to make it look like a rally car. So when this gets underway it looks like ill become a regular member again just like the good old days sm4

My god, that GLT's an absolute minter apart from the interior! It look like what I wished mine looked like! ( Only cos I'm too damn lazy to T-cut the thing :) )

Just a question.... what happened to the bumper vents/Covers? Did any of the Aussie-spec GLT's have them? I only ask cos mine didnt when I bought it, and neither has yours... I've not seen any others on the road at all...... Rarer than hens teeth over here, yet will never be a classic....sad :(

... that makes such a difference to "pink" 300's ... Well worth the effort :-)

I disagree ... The top versions are already fetching quite a premium over here, compared to a few years' back. There'll always be people who're interested in a RWD Volvo ...

Good news!! Removed the alarm and hotwired the car and it started first go. The rear muffler was removed so it sounds meatier than mine haha

Yeah the red colour really stood out when it was at the top of the pile in the scrapper.

my silver one has the blank covers, from what i know the vent things were for the vario transmission. A couple of years back i saw a maroon 360 for sale which had the snowcap on the vent but that was probably bought from os

I never informed this great forum community that the project failed and these two cars were sent to the crushers :(

I miss my 360!!

Nice wheels... mine is pretty much EXACTLY the same as the red one, minus a few obvious things. Also, does yours have the strange yellow button near the fog lights, down below the handbreak? Mine does... I have no idea what it does :)
