Just thought i'd start a project thread that i'll do my best to update.
As it stands i'm waiting for the V5 still, I need to tidy it up alot (wiring and shite, roll cage is ropey...general roughness). Coilover conversion is here ready to be assembled and fitted, along with vented disks and braided lines.
Thought you might like this:

Now, go and put the kettle on.

Nice, i thought as much but didn't want to put my neck on the line

Aren't Revo's sleeve bolt fitment or have you got proper 4x100 ones or using wobble bolts?
Looks hard as nails on those, looking forward to seeing proper shots of it.

They're proper 4x100 fitment split-rims. I do have a spare set of the old sleeve-nut type for drifting on though....

More pics will come in time my pedigree chums.

I'm at uni in Derby at the moment

I've been wheel shopping....

My 13's, and i really love them so i'm a bit gutted, have clearance issues because it's so low. I could run maybe 10-20mm spacers, but i'd rather not, they're rare and worth a bit of money too, so it pains me to say that i need to sell them. I've also got a set of volvo 5-spokes and a set of GLT alloys that i don't really need.

soooo, I bought a set of AEZ 'paron', a set of enkei 'Racing S' and a set of Lorber 5-spokes. All dishy, all 15's and all in decent offsets. A nice tyre wall in the garden is developing....

Haven't had time to do much else with it at the moment, i've had to apply for a new logbook, so as soon as that arrives it will be on the road and coming to a drift day near you :D

Feed 'em to the pigs Errol.

I went to Derby, studying Sound, Light & Live Performance Technology (or, as it was still known in my first year, Live Performance Technology...that dates me!). I was in PAC in the first year, SPHC in the second, then a house on Longford St (near Keddleston Road) in the third. I've got plenty of pics of a pair of 300s parked there! The Markeaton St campus opened the September after I left...which, scarily, is 5 years this summer!

cheers

Cool man, it seems like a nice town. I'm at Markeaton St. doing Motorsport Technology (B.eng). If you're ever over this way you'd always be welcome for a gander and a cup of tea.

I remember Charlie from my time there...but it looks like he may no longer be teaching now? I spent some time chatting to one of the other lectures at PPC in the Park last year. He was saying that most of the cars with programmable EMS use Megasquirt, which I found interesting, as we run that on my housemate's 740...and I think I know of another vehicle where that will be of interest ;)

I still have friends in the area, and I come over from time to time. In fact, I'll quite likely be popping over this weekend, and it'd be good to see the car again, and to have a bit of a chin-wag. I'll see how it's looking timing-wise, and give you a shout.

cheers

James

No huge up-dates really, have been tidying up the wiring (it was properly shocking in places). I've picked up an intercooler from a 740 turbo to replace the small frontera item currently fitted. I've also got an oil cooler from a 940 to go on there.

It's certainly looking a bit different, the arches have gone (I couldn't decide if I liked them, but now that they are off it looks way better).

Aside from that, I have had to spend most of my spanner time on other projects recently. Much more to come, don't worry.

Oh, and just to say thanks again to foggy for the kind wheel delivery. sm4
