Hi guys well today i'm just in the process of trying to remove my standard Volvo Tape player (Volvo 608 headunit) well i've got the cover clips off the side so I can see the releasing mechanism but I havent got a clue how I then release it!?
Anybody know what I have to do? I ideally don't want to damage the original headunit, it's locked but i'm sure it could be unlocked easy enough for somebody wanting an OEM headunit to use then.
Headunit Removal!?!?

Yer well i've tried the usual tricks, coathanger down the holes in the side, butterknifes down the side but doesnt seem to be doing much, like you I don't know how the original Volvo fittings work to get it oot!
