Mouse

Post by jtbo » 23 Feb 2010 09:33 pm

I found out mouse from my shoe this morning, it was destroying my shoe by ripping of all the cushions in there, however bastard was tad quick and run into closet when I did try to hit it with 3D Maglite (better keep always handy one of these bad light, good for hitting), so now I have heard it making noise there few times, but can't find it from closet, I did put mouse trap there too with cheese as a bait, but stupid (or wise?) creature decides not to enter my trap.

I have some poison spray used to kill insects, do you think that might get bastard out there so I could whack it dead with Maglite or maybe shoot at it? I mean it is awful waste of good poison if that has no effect to bastard...

VND will probably suggest this.

So I'm going to say it first...

Landmines :)

Seriously though, we had a mouse at our first flat over here, we put a couple of traps down baited with Peanut-Butter (The little buggers love it apparently) This caught one of them, and I managed to catch another one when it ran across my path when I had been out digging the garden with a spade. Lucky Strike :)

The missus saw another one the next day though - she was on the verge of calling rentokill, when I had an idea (it happens sometimes) and borrowed the mother-in-laws cat for a couple of day, it meant clearing up half-eaten little mouse corpses for a day or so, but after that - no problems!

I have been practising http://www.dan-dare.org/FreeFun/Games/TomAndJerry2.htm

My cat was murdered by one crazy teenage person, there would be no problem, maybe I should beat up that crazy teenage person again, just to make sure he gots the message and certainly that person owes me new shoes now?

Pet snake?
They eat mice.

Make friends with it. Teach it tricks and tour the world?

I'd pay to see a Fin teach a mouse to fetch a (small) stick.

Bloody bastard, now it was making noise at firewood, I try to find it out and bastard jolted behind fireplace, there to closet and from hole of closet again it disappeared, managed to make a shot at it, but missed slightly. Now I put trap to front of hole, it can't enter without launching a trap, let's see how bastard avoids this plan.

Theyre sneaky dude.

Put the trap against the wall near the hole. (where it normally runs)
And bait with a piece of chocolate smeared with peanut butter.

If it sees something odd at the hole, it'll chew another hole somewhere and use that instead.

Try and place the trap on a path it travels. Then it will naturaly investagate rather than avoid.

Thats a Vole.
Or possibly a Dormouse. (not mouse).

Looks cute.

Give it a top hat and a cane and it could have its own cartoon.

That would make a FAR better cartoon character dude !
A cheeky Dormouse with a broken spine and exposed internal organs, in a tophat, with a cane, that sneaks into childrens bedrooms at night and bites childrens toes.
That would keep them quiet. 8)
