Ok lads, im now working in preperation for the return to 300-hood.

Ive scored some whoop-dish *were described as* ronal 14s for less than the price of a Steak Sandwhich but they need a bit of work.

The centres and rubber is all well enough to leave alone, but the dishes are very crusty. (see below)

I have a Dremmel, time and the ability to purchase other cheap products.
Ive heard wire wool, sandpaper, etc etc but would appreciate any advice from those that know.

Cheers everyone.

Very nice choice!

Lots of patience and sandpaper... you'll need to go from coarse to fine, and very very fine to get the outer lips polished. Maybe even use some sort of power tool for this, but problem is access! Centres will be an easy sand back smooth, primer, paint and lacquer job. The lips look like they are polished and laquered.

Cheers steve.
Dont actually want them to "shine" as the cars not really that style.
Just want to decrust and get them looking flat and even.

I'll stock up on manygrades and get cracking after the weekend.

Got a week off so plenty of time for elbow-greasings.
