I decided at short-notice to go to this today at the Bath and West Showground, mainly as an excuse to give the 360 a run
The Wiltshire and Somerset A-roads caused me to have a lead foot, as on a 380 miles round trip I've only averaged around the 28mpg mark. The more I drive this car the more I love it though, so I'm happy to forgive it's thirst!
Anyway, I didn't spot any other 300s but the Volvo Enthusiasts Club had a stand so just thought I'd post some pics:
Volvo 740 with NY taxi livery used on the Coyote Rally (showing 193,000 miles). Solid with virtually no rust
HEARSE!! Apparently does 24mpg at a steady 56pmh if you're lucky
I told one of the guys on the stand that I've got a 360 and he said a lot of positive things about 300Mania, along the lines of what a good bunch of lads you all seem and how it's good to see the young un's getting involved and keeping the 300 alive. So
everyone
