Hi Guys,
We've got lots of problems with the wife's 1.7 340, I've narrowed down the major issues to the fuelling. I've stripped it down and cleaned it up with no improvement. I think we need a new (to us) carb.
So has anyone got a carb from a running engine?
I'm in Kent, so postage may be required...
Alex.
Carb for a 1.7 340 needed.

If you can't get hold of one and decide to rebuild your current, send us a message. I've got some gaskets and stuff you can have for free.

Hello
it could be the idle solenoid - seems to be the usual cause of carb trouble and gives sudden cutting out at low revs. Does it click every time you turn the ignition key? If not, the solenoids are available new from carby specialists for about 35 pounds, or at least they were 2 years ago when mine packed up.
Bon chance, bogbasic.
