360 GLT

Post by bwnipi » 03 May 2005 12:31 pm

Does anyone know of or happen to have a low milage 360 GLT for sale. I scrapped mine recently and am beginning to regret it. Im willing to travel for a decent example.

i would personally say that milage is a lot less important than condition - i've had one with 160k on the clock, and the engine had no signs on wear.

try these folk.. they had a nice looking 360 for sale ages ago, but it didnt get much interest.. you might get it for a lot less..

why did you scrap your 360?

Point taken, condition is more important.

I scrapped the last one because the bodywork was really bad - wheel arches and sills. Also it was badly abused - 5 years of pizza delivery in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

I saw the black one and the red one on ebay recently. I was thinking about bidding for the red one but thought it was a bit steep at £870 - however photos never do a car justice, so it could have been worth it.

Ill give the surbiton one a ring and see if its still there. Do the A reg ones have the nice alloys - no the almost solid ones?

Yeah, it'll have the 'nice' GLT alloys. But they alloys are cheap to change...

cheers

the a reg one will have the nice alloys, which are cheapish (£50 a set) to change, but hard to get hold of (especially hard to get hold of the centre caps).. the one in surbiton sounded like it had been looked after very well when i phoned up.. it was still in a garage and they were selling it!
