Water hoses

Where's the best place to get water hoses from since mine has just split on the long bottom one from rad to engine (1.7gl), gonna try cut it in the morning and see if I can make it last so I can get to work but not sure it'll last much longer. Seem to spend more time under it than in it at the moment

look through the buy/sell there were pre sale of certain coolant hoses, may help

Not of 1.7's though.

Best thing I've found to do with them is cut out the offending area and replace with silicone, that way you can cut done the amount of rubber too if you use ali tube for the straight runs.

Well I got up at 6am this morning to fix it before work, luckily split just before the jubilee clip so I managed to chop and refit it, doesn't seem to leak so far but I doubt it'll last too long as it's on a bit of a bend now so with the engine rock it'll probably wear quickly around the clip again. Gonna see if the silicone hose people a few miles away can make a new one up. Anyone interested in any if I can get a few made up?

Depending on price I could be, I've taken so far to making them up as they perish.
