Hi,
Does anyone know if the throttle cable for the CVT is still available anywhere or does anyone have a good condition used one they want sell. Also any info on the availability of CVT clutch parts would be appreciated.
Cheers..

Throttle cable is the same as the 1.4 / 1.7 manual as far as I know.
Clutches are either a trawl ebay with a four leaf clover.
3 piece set was something like €250 with a €50 exchange surcharge for the old bits from the Netherlands. Then you best find some shims from somewhere. 3 thicknesses, NLA from Volvo.
I'd join a club, and buy-as-you-go, rather than tie up a load of capital in parts you might (or might not) need one day. Alternatively, if you have room, keep 'em peeled for a rotten car with half decent mechanicals and save all juicy bits.

Throttle cable is different for 1.4 compared with 1.7.
PN's are 3210829 (1.4, RHD) and 3210703 (1.7, RHD).
Best chance to find out is to go to the Volvo workshop and ask.
