I have my beloved 340dl with 2,5l 16v turbo and bmw e36 gearbox and torsensifferential together mounted in the rear MOT and everything is OK, except for it needs a new rear fender, preferably both sides.
We've had the car today for 20 years in the family, and i'd like to do a paintjob to get it look like it should, but before that i need a new fender. The car has an amazing 350.000km on the clock, and just next to no rust, thankfully to that my dad only drove it in the city, and oiled it with used engine oil every summer.
The fender is damaged beyond repair, i hit a lamp pole at 70km/h 7years ago, and the lamp pole protruded the trunk by 26cm, replaced the trunk lid, but the car isn't perfect. I'd post a pic, but photobucket where i have my pics under volvopentaman is doing somekind of beta, so i can't access my pics.
I have a spare rear end from a 4d saloon that i was going to use, but it's from a 360, and it has some rust, and really isn't in the best shape.
I'd buy new fenders, but volvo doesn't sell them anymore, and GCP that sells parts to old swedish cars, mainly volvos, doesnt have anything to our cars.

Re: Rear fender 4D saloon or front smashed car to break
I think that it shouldn't be too hard to find a donor car for the rear fenders.
Have you posted this request also on the Volvo 300 club forum? I know that it is mainly in Dutch but yes they all do understand English>
In Holland a lot of 4D cars get scrapped for some reason....
