I have a M47R 5 speed transaxle with 3.64:1 differential gears.
I am looking for a 3.82:1 gear set (new or second hand) to fit my diff housing. According to the manual my diff housing is a MT5 type housing.
What's out there folks?

You'll want a diff out of a 5 speed 340 1.4 - though I guess you didn't get them over there!

I think you are right on both counts.
I am not aware of any 1.4 litre 340 cars here in Australia only the 360 .
