seeing as you have small wheels offset isn't going to be much of an issue, you're not going to scrub anything if the offset is out by a bit, so i would just scour ebay for wheels in your area with a 4x100 pcd, the centre bores on our wheels are tiny so you won't have troubles finding wheels with bigger bores that will fit.

I dont think I have any Mk1 wheels on the 3 stud ones off a 66 - not much use.

I do have some spare steel later wheels to keep you going if you like. FOC if you want to make trip over to collect.

How difficult would it be to refurbish the steelies? As you say, they are pretty hard to get hold of ...

oh gentlemen you are my hero's!!! :D

i love forums!

so i will talk ot the girlfriend and see which way she wants to travel
holyhead or leads?? will let you boys know tonight.
how much tread are on the wheels?

my plan is to still get the mk1 steel bent back to shape if i can because i love how classic they are, and i have already give them a good sand and a lick of paint.

would be good to get all the tyres off and really go at them.....but the weather... sm35
