Please help. Any car for under £100

Post by choppa » 20 Sep 2008 09:26 am

Please help me.

I am involved in a rally/challange. Its a tough call but we have to buy a car for less than £100!!!!!!! It has to have an mot valid until Oct 20th or later.

The condition of the car is totally unimportant (as long as it has 2 seats). Unfortunatly if won't be fit for much other than being scrapped by the time we're finished!

I would cosider any car, but preferably rwd with is why i'm posting here. If anyone has an old banger with a couple of weeks of mot left, please let me know.

Thank you

Must admit that's gonna be a tough call... especially with the rising scrap metal prices!

Leave the 300's alone mate. Go buy a ford!

Thanks for the advice, I'll give that a go.

And sorry about trying to use a volvo, the problem with fords is they're just a bit crap!!!!!(although I suppose that is the point)

Yeah the 300s are ideal for this kind of thing because it's hard to kill them. If it's not rusted itself in half then it'll generally only need a quick service to make it last bloody ages.

Think it's more the point of try to find a 300 under a ton lately guys ;) 740's still seem to be appearing at this price though.

You could drive a 740 through a war. When we slammed my mates I couldn't believe how overbuilt they are. If you can get one for the price I'd say go for it.
