You think it'd be possible?? If once the moulds are taken.. we should be able to lay the snowcaps outselves.... just in case the unthinkable happenes. Look at Foggy's sunroof story, and I've heard snowcaps are good at flying...

It could work, the shape is pretty basic.
I have no spare time for it to do it myself though...

Yeah, you could remake them in FG fairly easily...maybe this could be my first FG project?

cheers

Someone give the man a rear wiper motor and electric windows for a short term borrowing of a snowcap!

That would be a nice deal... :P
Throw in some headlight wiper washers and leccy mirrors I will lend you guys the cap for as long as you need it to make some nice replica's! :P
(hey I'm Dutch... we're frugal...)

I think the finish of the cap will be tricky to copy with FG. It has the same "wobly" structure as the strips on the bumpers.

I've already promised it to you mate... I tend to keep my priomises...

Think you can get me some leccy goodies for it?

Windows, mirrors, rear wiper, high level brake light, headlight cleaning installation?
I believe those are pretty common goodies in the UK, unlike the snowcap... 8)

You need a new rear screen for the brake light because of how it mounts...plus you'd need to drill a hole for the washer jet....plus another hole in the metal for the wiper arm......I'd get a whole tailgate sent over!

Other than that, it's all fairly easy to source...

cheers

I'll find something for the brake light... Faking the black stuff with some spoilerkit. I used it for my aftermarket HLBL and that stuff looks just like the original black lining. Then all I need to figure out is how to mount the light itself.
Dunno if the bulb is changed from the rearscreen side or from the frontside of the licht?

Drilling some holes is pretty easy. The postage costs of a whole tailgate will be huge I think... and I will probably have to respray it...

The rest of the goodis will be a bit more easy to install... I hope...
